The Straw Hat Pirates (from One Piece) have recently joined the Department of Hotness. Meanwhile, at the same time, I (the author), while sleeping, have once again drifted off into the dream realm and is fighting alongside the Department of Hotness again.
Alison Cole has decided to take a break from being Hottie for Halloween and visit and return to her home universe. Alison Cole, pondered her reflection in the mirror. She wore her halloween costume. A yellow and black strapless leotard and a matching wrap around skirt held in place by a metal ring. She also wore matching gloves and elbow guards. Her boots were yellow with a black design. Instead of her usual shade of red, her nails were painted black. She wasn't wearing a wig though and her shoulder length copper hair was left undyed. Still any video gamer who had played the Mortal Kombat series would recognise her immediately, Tanya. She had chosen this character, not only for their shared ability to manipulate fire but also because she often wondered what it felt like it be in the role of antagonist. Right now it just felt uncomfortably revealing. Did she really have the confidence to strut around town in this little number.
"My, you look dangerous." Alison jolted, and turned towards her bedroom door, her soon to be stepmother, Penelope stood there, smiling sweetly at her. Her sunny disposition still undeniable even though she was dressed very tastefully as Sindel.
"Yeah." Alison said. "I'm also dangerously close to freezing to death."
"Don't be silly." Penelope said. "It's actually quite warm outside, for late autumn." Alsion looked over Penelope's costume. It was a dark purple and black leotard and matching boots with golden designs. She had even painted three purple dots on her forehead. "Wow." Alsion gasped. "You look beautiful."
"Oh you're just saying that." Penelope smiled modestly.
"No, I mean it." Alsion insisted.
"Well then, thank you, Sweetie." Penelope said, sweetly. "So do you."
Alsion smiled sadly. "Too bad, Dad's out of town. He could have dressed up as Shao-Kahn."
"I'm sure he would have loved that." Penelope sighed. "But work is work. Anyway I'm here to watch over you and that's just fine with me." Suddenly, the doorbell rang.
"Oh, that's Mal. Penelope, would you mind?" Alison asked. "I still have some work to do here."
"No problem." Panelope said, waving her hand. "I've been dying to meet this Malissa. She walked downstairs to the front door. "Just a minute, I'm coming." She said. She pulled the door open. On the doorstep stood Malissa Hart. She had on a blue leotard with a flapping loincloth skirt decorated with snowflake inspired symbols and a pair of blue and silver armoured boots. Her blue streaked platinum blonde curls, were pulled back into a ponytail.
"Evening Ms." She said. "Happy Halloween."
"How did I know you'd be dressed as Forst from MK, Mal?" Alsion said, cheekily, as she walked down the stairs into the living room.
"Because you knew how fabulous I'd look." Malissa teased. Alison walked over to the doorway.
"Well let me introduce you guys. Mal, this is Penelope, my dad's fiance and my soon to be mom. Penelope this is Malissa Hart also known as..."
"Frost." Penelope finished. "The little girl who wants more than anything to fight by Hottie's side. The newspapers printed an artice about her. It's nice to meet you in person, Malissa"
"She's also my sidekick and one of my best friends. Alsion said, grinning as she slid her arm around Malissa's shoulders. "David is teaching her how to control her ice powers." She turned to Malissa. "How's that going by the way?"
"Well." Malissa pondered. A manner she had learned from Manuke Pinku. "As for now we're on hiatus. He needs to chip himself out of an ice block." Alsion waved goodbye to Penelope, as she and Malissa headed off into the crisp autumn night. Jack-o-lanterns lined the streets each with a different funny face carved into it. Here and there, trick-or-treaters ran. Sometimes they would recognise one of their team-mates. Malissa, gently elbowed Alison in the arm and pointed to a boy and girl of about thirteen and twelve respectively, running hand in hand across the street. The boy had auburn hair and was dressed in a Baraka costume, right down to the huge teeth and arm spines, the girl was asian and rather short for her age. She was dressed as Mileena albeit rather conservative. "Midori and Pinku." Malissa whispered to Alison. "Oh yeah, I remember them." Alison said. They're from the Manuke rangers, right?" "Yup." Malissa nodded. "Well, I'll be." Alsion smiled at the young couple. The two girls kept walking side by side. They saw a tall boy with dark blue hair dressed as a viking, and a shorter girl with black hair in a ponytail decorated with candy shaped accessories and dressed up as a superhero in a mint green suit with a 'G' on the front. Vanellope and Rolf. Rolf was pushing a wheelbarrow filled with candy with Vanellope inside. "Vanellope Glitch Girl is the sweetest candy of all, yes." He said. Vanellope giggled. Alsion slid her arm through her friend's as they continued down the street flecked with children and teens in costumes. "So.." Malissa said. "What's Matt dressed as?" "Scorpion." Alison answered. "And Alex?" "Sub-Zero." Malissa replied. "Who else was I going to force him to dress up as. Maybe we'll run into them." "Maybe." Alsion shrugged. "But not likely. Let's just enjoy our Halloween night, Imouto-Chan." Malissa giggled. "Okay, Onee-san." They girls walked lightheartedly down the streets and began to sing. "It's close to midnight, something evil's lurking in the dark, under the moonlight, you see a sight that almost stops your heart, you start to scream, but terror takes the sound before you make it..." As their voices faded into the night, a voice could be heard, screaming, "Happy Halloween!" "Did you have to do that?" Rae Strange asked, irritated. "Just getting into the spirit of the holiday." Marvelous Man said, defensively. To be continued...
